INJURY PREVENTION/REDUCTION IS BIG BUSINESS!!

It is not hard to understand why preventing injury is the most important focus of any strength and conditioning program. Saves thousands of $$ and improves team success by helping keep your best players on the field!

Very sad to see hamstring strain being the most prevalent injury when the large majority are preventable. Soccer/football players put their hamstrings under very high stress when sprinting and often do very little strength work in the gym to improve their tolerance to this stress.

With the amount of research coming out now supporting eccentric hamstring exercises such as Nordics there really is no excuse not to include them in your program.

And no, they will NOT make you slower. Proper leg strengthening will in fact help IMPROVE your speed over 10-20m!!
