Well done to all participants again today at the Knocknarea 8 mile loop!
Des Burke was first male, closely followed by Brian kinsella in second and Donal Egan in third.
Heather Foley was first female in a course record time, with Nicola Casey in second followed by Lea Francioni in third. Due to Covid restrictions, we had no prize giving at the end. Prizes for various categories will be delivered or posted out in the coming days. Thanks everyone and see you all again next year!

Last call for the Knocknarea 8 Mile Loop. Registration closes at midnight tonight. This is the only road race event in Strandhill this year, so don't miss out. Pull on your runners and come join us in the morning. This is a fundraiser for Strand Celtic FC so please support our event. We are ready for you in the morning so come out and support our event - run or walk or cheer on the participants! It's good to be back - see you all in the morning! Race number collection from 9am at Strand Campus on the Airport Road.
