🧠 TABLE QUIZ & SOCIAL NIGHT 🍻

We're delighted to launch our Club Table Quiz & Social Night, taking place on Thursday 18th June in PJ Kavanagh's, Portlaoise.

This promises to be a great night of fun, friendly competition and plenty of club craic as we bring together players, parents, supporters, sponsors and friends of Park Ratheniska GAA.

There'll be a mix of general knowledge, sport, music, local interest and plenty more, along with raffle prizes on the night.

The evening will also help raise awareness for our Croke Park Abseiling Challenge on July 3rd, which will see members of our Adult Men's and Ladies teams take on a unique fundraising challenge in support of our club.

🌍♻️ COMMUNITY SCRAP METAL FUNDRAISER ♻️🌍

Support Park-Ratheniska Gaa while helping to protect the environment and clear out unwanted metal from your home, farm, or garden this summer!

We are hosting a Community Scrap Metal Collection on:

📅 Saturday, May 23rd
📅 Saturday, May 30th
⏰ 2:00pm – 7:00pm

📍 Drop-Off Location: Fingleton’s Yard, R32 FW27

We are accepting:
✔️ Old bikes
✔️ Scrap metal
✔️ Old cars
✔️ Metal swings & slides
✔️ Garden and farm machinery/metal
✔️ Car batteries
✔️ Any unwanted metal items lying around the yard

Please note:
❌ Unfortunately, we cannot accept washing machines or electrical items with plugs, as these must be recycled through WEEE services.

🚗 Collection of larger items can be arranged.

This is a great chance to tidy up sheds, gardens, and yards ahead of the summer while supporting a fantastic local cause. All funds raised will go towards supporting women in sport and Park-Ratheniska Gaa

Every piece of scrap makes a difference — for our club, our community, and our environment. 💚💛

Best of luck to all the boys and girls tomorrow 💚💛💚💛

A huge day ahead for Ratheniska NS on Thursday as both the hurlers and camogie girls contest Cumann na mBunscol finals in O’Moore Park!

First up at 3.30pm, the boys take on Scoil Tighearnach Naofa Cullohill in the Roinn 2 Hurling Championship Final, before our girls line out at 4.30pm against Scoil Naomh Eoin Killenard in the Roinn 2 Camogie Shield Final.

Best of luck to all the players, coaches and staff involved. We are incredibly proud of our young hurlers efforts in reaching finals day. We hope to see plenty of green and gold support in the stands cheering on the teams. 💚💛
