Thank you all for showing up to our open day. We are now looking for expressions of interest from people who want to help with the club. We are looking for coaches, volunteer, etc..

There are no training going forward until we find the people we need to run the training sessions.

Keep watching this space as we'll advertise the full opening of the club and spaces will be limited.

Realistically club activities will only start after the summer break.

Last Saturday on the 28th of March, Sligo Volleyball Club held their first Open Evening!

We at Sligo Volleyball Club wanted to thank Conor from Volleyball Ireland and Kate from Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership for the support in organising this event

What a fantastic turnout it was. Over 65 people in attendance, to either discover or play Volleyball. With 40 youth participants and 27 adults, It’s great to see such strong interest and enthusiasm for volleyball in the community.

We are now looking to grow and develop the club. We are going to work towards establishing ourselves over the coming months. But this event marks an exciting step forward for Volleyball in Sligo.

If you’d like to get involved—whether through coaching, volunteering, or playing—be sure to get in contact with Sligo Volleyball Club . Everyone is welcome! 🙌

A brand new Sligo Volleyball Club is in the works — and this is your chance to be part of it from day one!
We’re not just looking for players — we’re building a club and a community. That means we’re inviting anyone who would like to get involved in a variety of roles, including:
