As we end the season, just wanted to thank all who helped support us and make it an amazing year for the club.
Along with great year for the juniors on a competitive level, winning medals individual and team at Munster level, it was fantastic to reach new players with adult chess night introduced this year, as well as beginner course to introduce new players to the game.

Thanks you first and foremost to all our junior players for the hard work during the year, as well as the parents who support them, and us when we need volunteers to help on competition days.

Thanks to all that came and got involved in adult chess night, social, casual or competitive, all are welcome.

Thanks to Tony Mulcahy Candidate for his fantastic support during the year.
Also to Noel Marshall & Back Baller for adding special incentive for players at rapidplay event with prizes.

Thanks to all who host us for training or competition in the town, very grateful for the use of the venues, Treacys Oakwood Hotel, Clare Libraries, Goalpost Bar, and St. Conaires NS.

And massive thanks to the Shannon Community Games for the fantastic support they always give to the club.

Thanks to all the participants, and all who helped with the recent Shannon Community Games event. Very competitive across all age groups, with fantastic technique and strategy on display.
