Seniors:
We travelled to Blackhill last Friday week and again came away with a disappointing result falling by a single point again with scoreline of 1-9 to 0-11.
We started brightly enuf and went into an early lead of 0-3 to 0-1. However, the home team picked up a couple of points o bring them back to a point at 0-4 to 0-3. We were guilty of several wides that could have meant us pushing out a bigger lead but, the home team scored a goal leaving them winning by two points. At the half time whistle we were down by three points with score line of 1-5 to 0-5.
The second half saw us reduce the score to a point and at one stage we were level, but the home team scored a two pointer to give them the lead again. We brought it back to a point, but again wayward shooting saw us miss getting a share of the spoils.

Reserves
On Monday evening last we travelled back to Blackhill for a reserve game and came away with a well-deserved victory scoreline of 0-12 to 2-15.
This was a great team effort by the lads, with scores coming from five different payers in the first half. At the half time whistle we were up by three points score of 0-6 to 0-9.
The second half resumed with both teams trading points and the home side leveed the score at 0-11 to 0-11. However, the lads dug deep and following a couple of points we scored our first goal after some good play and led by 0-11 to 1-14. We finished the stronger side and at the dying moments scored our second goal to give the lads a good victory.

Reserves
The reserve team had their second game in a week at home to Latton last Sunday morning and shared the spoils. In very warm conditions the lads went into an early lead up by four points, but the visitors hit back, when awarded a penalty which they duly converted. They then went ahead by a point and again were awarded a penalty which went wide. We scored a further three points then, one a two pointer before we scored a goal going into the half time whistle with had us leading by five points- score of 1-8 to 1-5.
The second half saw the visitors out score us reducing our lead and levelling the score. We did score a further two points before the visitors brought it back to a single point. However, the last score went to the visitors to equalise with final scoreline of 1-12 to 1-12.
