Season 2025/26
As the season comes to an end, what a journey it has been for Sliabh Luachra Lakers. Through the Socia-Ball programme, the focus was always on fun, connection and getting active, and that spirit shone through in every session. From the excitement of the Christmas blitz, the Killarney blitz, and the unforgettable National Socia-Ball blitz in the National Basketball Arena, to all the friendly challenge matches along the way, the memories made on and off the court will last a lifetime. It wasn’t just about basketball either, with run club meet-ups, lip sync laughs, and plenty of craic strengthening the bonds between the group. More than a team, it became a community built on friendship, support and shared moments that will carry on long after the final whistle.
A huge thank you to all the organisers who made every blitz and event possible, and to our fantastic sponsor Kellys Londis Rathmore for their continued support throughout the season. 🏀😊

Great day was had at St Pauls Killarney Blitz. Organisation was outstanding, we were made feel extremely welcomed, the standard of teams was very high. Everyone was so friendly and great games of basketball were played. Huge well done to everyone involved. We really enjoyed ourselves
