Some tips to get you started for the new year 🤩
1. Write out your goals ✍️ , both short term and long term. Having a goal gives you something to work towards and you have a much better chance of staying on track.
2. Move your body daily 🏃🏼♂️ , if it’s a walk , jog , swim , going to the gym to lift weights , it all helps your overall well being and mental clarity.
3. Limit time spent on social media 🥸📱, focus on yourself and your own life and goals rather than spending hours a day scrolling through other peoples lives. You’ll be surprised how much more you’ll get done and how much better you’ll feel.
4. Get yourself a training partner 🤝, if it’s someone you go for a walk with ,go to the gym with ect or get yourself a personal trainer or go to a gym class . Having someone to be accountable to will definitely keep you motivated and push you on to reach your goal. 🙌
5. Drink water! 💧 Our body’s are made up of roughly 75% water . Including the brain, muscles , all vital organs heart , liver ect. So drinking enough water each day is vital for our body’s general well being. You’ll feel 💯 times better when your hydrated.
6. Get enough sleep ! 🛌 go to bed earlier! Try get 7/8 hours per night , sleeping is our body’s time to repair damaged cells and muscle tissue . For anyone lifting weights and resistance training this is so important. Your body needs sufficient time to heal and grow.
Take your time , there’s no rush , don’t mind what anyone else is doing , enjoy the process and best of luck with what ever you decide to do 💯🙌
