This July we are excited to give golfers the opportunity to learn and assist a blind - visual impairment golfer. This guide training is a fantastic collaboration between the Hub Vision Sports Ireland The Heath Golf Club - The Heath, Co Laois and Golf Ireland.

Vision Sports Ireland, in collaboration with Golf Ireland, are delighted to announce our upcoming Blind Golf Guide Training Workshop, taking place on Saturday July 11th from 15:00 – 17:00 at The Heath Golf Club - The Heath, Co Laois

The Blind Golf Guide Training Workshop is designed to give sighted participants the skills, knowledge, and confidence to guide and support a golfer who is blind or vision impaired, both on and off the course.

Blind golf is a sport that can be enjoyed recreationally and competitively, with guides playing a vital role in supporting golfers throughout their round. Guides assist with orientation, communication, shot alignment, and providing clear visual information to help create an inclusive, enjoyable, and accessible golfing experience.

Calling all Tandem cyclists... Get out training for the Trip to Tipp

Over three decades, Billy Shanahan has created something truly special - the legacy of Trip to Tipp and the generosity it has inspired has helped support thousands of people living with sight loss.
Trip to Tipp offers something for everyone, with cycling routes (tandems very welcome) of 120km, 65km, and 25km, alongside the more recent additions of a walk and a run, making it an inclusive and welcoming challenge for all abilities, and all members of the family, even our four legged friends! Taking place on Saturday June 27th, the day is about more than just the distance, it’s about community, connection, and coming together for a cause that matters.
