Target Taekwondo & Target Tigers Oola

Target Taekwondo is a traditional Korean martial arts. We opened our doors nearly ten years ago and in that time we have seen nearly 20 black belts start their Martial arts career. We have changed our name but our style has not.

Our class is open to kids and adults from the age of eight upwards. We cater for all fitness levels and our aim is to teach you all about traditional Taekwondo and self-defence, You will also learn:

· Courtesy (yeui / 예의)

· Integrity (yeomchi / 염치)

· Perseverance (innae / 인내)

· Self-control (geukgi / 극기)

· Indomitable spirit (baekjeolbulgul / 백절불굴)

If you choose to come and join us, you will start your martial arts journey with a Third Degree black belt as your instructor. Mr Derek Ryan has over 20 years experience, Mr Ryan had been the assistant instructor with the school for 9 + years and has recently taken on the role of head instructor. Mr Ryan brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the school, with a keen interest in the tradtional aspect and history of martial arts. Mr Ryan is a registered instructor with TaeKwonDo Alliacne, IMAC certified and Garda vetted.

In our school we are privilege to have six + black belts ranging from first to third degree, each with their own knowledge and experience.

Within our school we also cater for kids aged 3-8. Our Target Tigers is a great way to get small kids into martial arts and it is great for discipline, concentration, balance and much more. Ms Mc Namara is the instructor. She is a second degree black belt with over 25 + years experience and has taken time off to raise a family. She has filled each class of 45 minutes that incorporates fun games, Tae Kwon Do, self-defence and anti-bullying. We will teach your kids: Co-ordination, Respect, Awareness, Confidence, Focus, Concentration, Self Defence, Self control and much more. Ms Mc Namara is also the child liaison officer, a registered instructor with TaeKwonDo Alliacne, IMAC certified and Garda vetted.
