Entry in each event is limited to the first 10 COMPLETE PARTNERSHIPS. BOTH players must enter online and be FULLY PAID online to be considered for entry
• No player can play below their DDLC grade or the grade they played in the 25/26 league, whichever is higher
• If a partnership includes two different player grades, they must play according to the HIGHER player’s grade- players playing below their division will be removed
• If an event is full/closed, players MUST enter the next HIGHER division, NOT the one below
• No player can enter more than TWO events on any given day (1 doubles, 1 mixed)
• Refunds will ONLY be issued to those players on the Reserve list
• The Tournament Committee have the discretion to move players should it be deemed necessary

Oldcastle Badminton Club has had a truly fantastic year, built on the dedication, teamwork, and hard work of all our members.

We are incredibly proud to celebrate some amazing achievements this season, including winning both the Grade 7 Mixed League and Cup, as well as the Grade 7 Ladies League and Cup. Our Grade 7 Men’s team also had a brilliant run, finishing as runners-up.

To top it all off, being nominated for Club of the Year is a huge honour and a reflection of the spirit and commitment within our club.

We are so proud of everything we’ve achieved together and look forward to building on this success in the seasons ahead!

🏸🥈 Claire & Tingting – 2nd place in Division 9 at the Danum BC Summer Showdown Tournament.

Not going to lie… they are a bit disappointed not to take the gold this time 🥇But still proud of the performance, the fight, and the teamwork on court 💪

They will be back stronger next time… gold is the target 🔥🏸

🏆 CHAMPIONS AGAIN! 🏆
​Huge congratulations to our incredible Grade 7 Mixed Team who secured the Cup tonight after a thrilling final against a very strong Trim side!
​It was a night of fantastic badminton with some seriously close games and great sportsmanship from both sides. A massive well done to the Trim team for such a competitive and friendly match—it was a pleasure to share the court with you.

​🌟 The Double Glory
​This win is even more special as it completes the Double for this team! After clinching the League title back in March, adding the Cup to the trophy cabinet tonight is a phenomenal achievement.

​This is an excellent result for the club and a testament to the hard work, team spirit, and talent of every player involved. We are so proud of you all!

🏸 Huge News from Oldcastle Badminton Club! 🏸
​We want to send a massive thank you to the team at Tesco Virginia for inviting us to be part of such a fantastic fundraiser recently. It was a brilliant day spent raising vital funds for the Children’s Hospitals, as well as some much-needed support for our own club.
​The organisation from the Tesco staff was top-notch—they were incredibly helpful and made sure everything ran smoothly from start to finish. We couldn't have asked for better hosts!

Huge congratulations to our Men’s Grade 7 team on a fantastic run to the Meath League Final! 🏸👏

What a season it has been. The final may not have gone our way this time, but every match was incredibly tight and fiercely contested. These weren’t easy games—every rally, every point showed the determination, skill, and heart this team has built all season long.

The lads gave it everything on the court, fighting right to the very last point against a very strong Mullagh side.
