NWS has advised that the following NOAA Weather Radio Stations are offline for maintenance: WWF-60 Black Mountain, WXL-58 Chapel Hill, WNG-597 Ellerbe, WNG-706 Garner, WNG-586 Henderson, WXL-59 Tarboro, and WXL-42 Greensboro. They are expected to be out of service for a minimum of 4-5 hours.

FEMA has released a new, free online training: IS-2901: Introduction to Community Lifelines.
This course introduces the Community Lifelines construct, an outcome-driven response structure used to achieve incident stabilization during disasters. Learners will explore the eight Community Lifelines and how they support situational awareness, prioritization, and operational decision-making.

Key objectives include:
• Defining the Community Lifelines construct and its role in emergency management
• Understanding the relationship between lifelines, components, and sub-components
• Applying lifelines to support incident stabilization and response planning
• Using lifelines to enhance situational awareness, reporting, and strategy development

Blue sky day training in the Sit Rm.

Search and Rescue Team members are attending a rescue technology course today and tomorrow. Personnel are learning how to use different programs to aid in search and rescue operations. Thanks to WSFCEM for use of their situation room.
