🖤🧡 A Sincere Thank You 🖤🧡 Nobber Rounders would like to extend our sincere thanks to Councillor Eugene Cassidy for his generous support of our club. Eugene's contribution has enabled us to purchase a portaloo for our training grounds and helps support the ongoing servicing costs throughout the season. This investment has made a real difference to our players, coaches, volunteers and supporters by improving facilities at our home grounds. As a newly established ladies' club, community support like this is invaluable and helps us continue to grow and provide a positive sporting environment for women and girls in our area.

A great evening spent training with St Kevin's Ladies. 🥎 Some great hitting, sharp catches, plenty of laughs and good craic throughout. It's always great to get together, share a training session and enjoy the game. Thanks to everyone who came along, we had a brilliant time and already looking forward to the next one. 🧢 🏏

🌦️ Four seasons in one day last Sunday and some challenging playing conditions, but a great game of rounders from start to finish! A hard-fought battle ended all square at 8-8. Thanks to Drumhowan GAA for a competitive and sporting game and best of luck for the rest of the Championship. Thanks for the tea and bikkies and chats afterwards, this comradery is what Rounders is all about. 🖤🧡⚾ Next up is Clonguish at home this Sunday at 3pm. All support welcome.

Introducing Our Team Management Panel. We are delighted to officially introduce our Team Management Panel for the 2026 Season. 🧢 🏏 ⚾️

🖤🧡 Ciara Clarke – Player & Team Management Panel

🖤🧡 Shirley Lennon – National GAA Rounders Secretary & Team Management Panel

🖤🧡 Clodagh Blaney – Player & Team Management Panel

Together, Ciara, Clodagh and Shirley will lead team management throughout the season, planning and coordinating training plans, team selection, matchday management, player communication and support, player and skills development, and supporting player wellbeing. They will be providing our team with leadership and structure both on and off the field.

Each member brings valuable experience, commitment and passion for the game. We are fortunate to have Shirley's extensive national-level experience within GAA Rounders, alongside the leadership, playing experience and dedication that Ciara and Clodagh bring to the role.

As a club, we are committed to creating a shared, inclusive and supportive environment where leadership is collaborative and focused on helping both our players and club continue to grow.

Please join us in wishing Ciara, Clodagh and Shirley every success in their roles for the season ahead. We are extremely proud and grateful to have such a strong panel of women leading our team.

🖤🧡 A huge thank you to Cait Coulter & her husband Drake .ireland 🧡 🖤

We were delighted to welcome Cait and Drake to training this evening for a guest coaching session.

Cait plays for and helps run training sessions with the Navan Dragons Softball Club, is the founder and head coach of Meath Dodgeball Club and serves as Head Coach of the Irish Foam Dodgeball Squad. She brought a wealth of experience, energy, and insight to our team, providing our players with a fresh perspective and plenty of valuable takeaways.

We're always looking for opportunities to support player development, and sessions like this compliment the fantastic work being done by our own team management panel week in, week out.

What a night for our team! We only came together as a team since January, and last night we celebrated our first-ever Championship victory in just our third competitive game. Every player gave their everything, and the commitment, belief and team spirit on the pitch was incredible. This is a special milestone for our club and hopefully the first of many memorable wins together. ⚾️ Final score 18 - 5 ⚾️ 🖤 🧡

A huge thank you to Celine and Barry Govern of The Village Preschool, Nobber. for their amazing support of our rounders team this season ⚾️ We’re so grateful to have a local business backing us both on and off the pitch, and their generosity genuinely makes a huge difference to our club. It was brilliant to visit and see the future sporting stars already getting stuck into a few rounders drills! At this rate, we’ll have our next generation of players signed up before they even leave preschool. Safe to say our recruitment strategy is starting early! 🧢 🏏
