Over the past year we have several new members join our team. One of the WAGS has a story to tell about her dealing with a victim of brain cancer. Anne Callanders husband, Matt who was also a father to four children, succumbed to this insipid desease in 2017. After diagnosis Matt and Anne, in conjunction with the Mark Hughes Foundation started the NRL Beanie for cancer round, which has been a huge success in raising money and awareness of brain cancer. In honour of Anne and the magnificient work that she does in her role of ambassador to the MHF the Wallopers have donated to the MHF with hope that the little funds we did contribute will assist in finding a cure. Well done Anne and our thoughts are with those currently battling and those that have succumbed.
