Meath Running Group

Meath Running Group will start 2022 with a 6 week ‘Build your Endurance’ programme which will focus on steadily improving your endurance and building a good foundation for the year of running ahead. The programme is suitable for anyone running 5k and over.

Meath Running Group – ‘Build your Endurance’ programme will start Wednesday 16th February at 7.30pm in Blackwater Park, Navan.

Meath Running Group - Training sessions are tailored to individual abilities & levels – from beginner to seasoned running pro.

Meath Running Group is back next week, our track training will be delivered by our coach Cailin McDonagh which starts on Wednesday 22nd September at 8pm on the track at Claremont Stadium, Navan for 6 weeks!

This block will focus on preparation for 5 mile, 10km and 10 mile distances. Cost is €30 for 6 weeks.

Meath Running Group is back and running!!
Ever thought of completing a 10km, half marathon or a full marathon, but don’t know where to start, how to train for it or simply keep to a regime on your own? Meath Running Group can help you do just that!
👉Block 2 Speed and Middle Distance training starts on Wednesday 26th May at 8pm at Claremont Stadium Navan (track) for 5 weeks! This block will focus on preparation for 5 mile, 10km and 10 mile distances.
ℹCost is €30 for 5 weeks. Places are limited - COVID-19 protocols will be adhered to.

Our first podcast goes out today with our tutor Cailin McDonagh. There are over 100 people registered so far, we hope you enjoy the first running session today!

The weekly podcast for runners 18+ will focus on speed and middle distance training sessions.

Our new 6 week Meath Running Group Podcast programme starts Wednesday 20th May.

This programme is ideal for those wishing to complete 5 miles up to half and full marathon distances.

The weekly podcast for runners (18yrs +) will focus on speed and middle distance training sessions. Our tutor Cailin McDonagh will talk you through the full running session and will give you tips on what your weekly running sessions should include. The 6 week programme is FREE and once you have registered you will receive your podcast every Wednesday to complete at a time that suits you (please stay within 5km from your home).

Meath Local Sports Partnership are delighted to announce Meath Running Group Podcast Programme starting Monday 18th May with our tutor Cailin McDonagh.

The weekly podcast for runners will focus on speed and middle distance training. Cailin will talk you through the full running session and will give tips on what your weekly running sessions should include.

The 6 week programme is FREE and you will need to register before the start date. Registration will open next Wednesday 13th May.

This is a great opportunity to complete your running sessions with your coach.
