Horse Sport Ireland is pleased to confirm the appointment of Robyn van Lijsdonk as Human and Equine Osteopath, and Remedial Massage Therapist through to the LA Olympic Games, forming part of the Senior Jumping Programme support team.

Robyn brings over 30 years of international experience working across elite human and equine high-performance environments.

Her background includes work with the Australian Institute of Sport, professional cycling teams at Tour de France level, and Formula One (Williams F1).

She has also supported combinations at Olympic Games, FEI World Equestrian Games and European Championships, working with leading international riders and teams, and we wish Robyn every success in the role.

Ciaran Nallon Showjumping scored on the double at five-star level at Longines Global Champions Tour Longines Global Champions Tour of Ramatuelle, St. Tropez, while Cian O'Connor and Daniel Coyle Showjumper were also five-star winners at Jumping International de La Baule and Spruce Meadows.

Ardeo Sport Horses will host an educational seminar with Gill Batt, founder of HBA.

Gill is an independent equine bitting consultant with over 25 years of practical experience in bit fitting, horse comfort, and bridle design. She is widely respected internationally within the equestrian industry, having co-designed the Quantum Bridle, trained professional bit fitters, and worked closely with equine dentists, physiotherapists, trainers, and welfare specialists to enhance both performance and equine wellbeing.

You are encouraged to contact Ardeo Sport Horses directly to book your place, as spaces are limited. A small number of one-to-one clinic appointments with Gill are also available.

A cracking round of jumping from Cian O'Connor and Chatouline Ps, who continue their rich vein of form after a magnificent effort to help Ireland finish on the podium at the Nations Cup in La Baule on Friday.

The pair finished fourth in this afternoon's stacked five star Grand Prix, with compatriot and Friday's teammate Bertam Allen just one place behind in fifth position with Qonquest De Rigo after their own excellent display on Friday.

Massive congratulations to 13-year-old Katelyn Horgan, who enjoyed a wonderful week in Hagen at the Future Champions show with Ajaccienne.

The promising combination jumped clear across the whole week until this afternoon’s jump-off before an eighth place result, as well as finishing fifth in Saturday’s big class.
