Everyone at Mullingar Youth Project and Grange Utd is deeply saddened by the tragic passing of Mark, Michaela and Amy in Spain.
The McCullagh/Creighton and Newcome/Wilton families have been part of the fabric of our project and our wider community for many years. Many family members have grown up through Mullingar Youth Project, worked alongside us, volunteered, and continued to support young people in so many different ways.
Ian and Amy were dedicated parents who were always there supporting Curtis in everything he did. Through their party van business, they also proudly sponsored jerseys for Grange United and were familiar faces at matches, supporting the club and encouraging young players from the sidelines.
These are families who are deeply rooted in our community, known, respected and held in such high regard by so many. Their loss is being felt across the entire community, and our hearts are with everyone who knew and loved them.
On behalf of everyone at Mullingar Youth Project, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the McCullagh/Creighton and Newcome/Wilton families, their friends, and everyone affected by this unimaginable tragedy.
Our thoughts are also with Ian as he continues his recovery in hospital. We are all rooting for him and wishing him strength in the days and weeks ahead.
May Mark, Michaela and Amy rest in peace.
