Friday is fun day at Eastern Gaels when our nursery and underage sessions make Páirc Réalt na Mara a haven of fun, football and friendship.

Communities work best when people support each other. That was proven again on Saturday last when many local businesses rowed in behind our Fun Day and provided the club with all sorts of support.

We are hugely appreciative of this and would encourage our community here in East Meath to support local businesses wherever possible.

Together we’re better!

A huge thank you too to our own Nicola, Caoimhe and Clare who put in trojan work to make the day a roaring success. Thanks also to our team of volunteers and last but not least our star chef, Gourmet Kev! 💚💛

Hard to believe it’s a year ago today since we were honoured to welcome Uachtarán CLG Jarlath Burns to our club grounds in Mornington.

His encouraging words then and since inspire Eastern Gaels as we continue to grow and serve our East Meath community.

What a fantastic time we had at our club Fun Day yesterday.

We had a huge attendance who enjoyed all sorts of fun and games, food and drink, sweets … and so much fun.

Teddy the Bear said he hadn’t seen so many people in one place since he escaped from the zoo!

Thanks to everybody who came along and made it such a memorable day! 💚💛

Can’t wait for next year!

Our fantastic Family Fun Day takes place at Páirc Réalt na Mara in Mornington from 3pm today!

There are all sorts of games and attractions, face painting, food and refreshments and tons of fun. The sun has even reappeared!

All of our East Meath community are welcome to come along and enjoy the craic! Feel free to share.

There’s a double header of Championship action this Sunday when the lads travel to Dunderry GAA to take on Boardsmill GAA in Round 3, while the Ladies host Ballivor LGFA in Round 2.
