And so concludes the league phase of the inaugural Kildare and Laois District Summer League 2026. The Bellyard, Coppers, Corcorans A and Ramsbottom's have advanced to the semi final stages. These ties are fixed for next Friday 4th September at 9pm. First place and second place have home advantage in respect of their positions in the table so the fixtures are as follows;

Coppers vs Corcorans A @ Coppers
Both games are a race to 7 following the same format as league games, in the event of a 6-6 draw each team will nominate 1 player to play a deciding singles frame. The break will continue with the team who won the original lag starting the match.
We would like to wish all teams the very best of luck and sincerely thank The Horsehoe and Corcorans B for their efforts in the league phase, unfortunately everyone cannot qualify but without these teams there would be no league. The league has seen 40 players compete over 10 weeks, gaining valuable table time over the summer period when the ranking calendars for Kildare, Laois and Carlow are quiet. The aim of the league is to aid all these counties by giving competitive pool to players in a quiet period on the ever bustling pool calendar. It's been a great success so far, roll on the playoffs.
