Portsalon is a charming course: The first 7 holes bring you along the coastline. Then, the routing takes you away from the sea before the 14th tee box where you stand in awe looking at the landscape of Donegal.

📍 Portmarnock Golf Club

Designed by William Pickeman & opened on St. Stephen’s Day in 1894, Portmarnock Golf Club is one of the most iconic golf clubs in the world.

It’s clubhouse is also one of the most recognisable clubhouses in the golf ecosystem. Opened in 1896. In 1905, it was destroyed by a fire & a new clubhouse opened in February 1906.

A stern Par 3. Wind is usually blowing from left to right. 173 yards to the front of the green. 3 punishing bunkers to the right and 2 to the left - The bunker short left is the deepest bunker on the course, so avoid that! The green also has a ridge running through the middle, so choose your club & trust your gut!
