🎯🎯 Michelle Gaughan Memorial 2026🎯🎯

Just 7days to go until this years Michelle Gaughan Memorial which takes place next Sunday 13th September Broadhaven Bay Hotel.

This year sees all events on the day played out in round robin style then knockouts including the newly added ladies event. This ensures everyone will get pleanty of games all day long to shake off those summer cobwebs 😎

All events are confined to Erris players only & start times are sharp, no late entries please.

🏆The Youths event is open to players aged 18 or under on the day with registration from midday & games starting at 12.30pm - €5 Entry

🏆Ladies Registration opens for 1.30pm with games starting - €10 Entry

🏆Main Event Registration opens from 3pm with games under way from 4pm sharp - €10 Entry.

With 10 Boards in operation a brilliant day's darts is most certainly garunteed.🙌🏻

Raffle on the day in aid of Glencastle N.S. All donations & Spot Prizes Welcome 🤝

Who will follow on from last years winners. Gotta be in it to win it 🤞

🏆Ballina Darts have the PJ Smith Competition tommorow afternoon in the Lodge, Cloghans. Always a great day out.🤝

🟢🔴Sunday In Castlebar, sees the start of the Mayo Darts Rankings for the Youths, Ladies & Mens for the season ahead which ive no doubt we will have pleanty of Erris players competing accross all codes.🟢🔴

Meeting to take place next Friday night 4th September in Lavelles, Corclogh.

Teams wishing to enter or venues wishing to host must send a representative and entry fee of €100 per team to the meeting please.

Notes:
- Provisional League Matches Start Date Saturday 10th October 2026
- Last Date for team Entries is Saturday 26th September 2026 to allow time for fixtures to be drawn up to best suit everyone.
- Provisional Finals Night Date Saturday 20th February 2027

Evan Irwins first anniversary mass will take place next weekend on Sunday the 30th of August at 9:30am in St Paul's Church Glenamoy. Refreshments to follow afterwards in Healys (The Anglers Rest)

Evans Memorial darts competition will take place on Saturday 28th November from 1pm in Healys with more details to be announced on the event next month. Please save the date

🎯U23 Mayo Teams Rankings🎯

The newly created u23 county team competition at this years Connaught Cup takes place on Friday evening 18th September in the Sligo Park Hotel. Sligo.

With that in mind please see below details on ranking events and eligibility criteria. A great opportunity for some of our younger adults to have an opportunity to represent Mayo as part of a team and gain some great experience 🙌🏻

🎯Ranking 1:
2pm Sunday 23rd August Valley Inn Bar, Pullathomas(Erris) F26 DY62

🎯Ranking 2:
2pm Sunday 30th August @ Flynn's Sports bar, Castlebar F23 KD96

A 3rd Ranking date if required may be ran in early September.

Teams are 5 aside &
Mayo Have entered 4x teams into the Connaught Cup so 24/25 places will be up for grabs at these rankings.

Eligibility Criteria:

➡️Players must be between 17 and 23

➡️17 year olds must turn 18 on or before the 28th of February 2027

➡️23 year olds can play up until the day before they turn 24
