FUDDERMUCKER RUNNER'S
DATE FOR YOUR DIARY - SATURDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER 2016

We have learned a lot from our first FUDDERMUCKER RUN and listened to your feedback.. For our next FUDDER MUCKER 5K Run, We will make the new course a bit more dirty and a bit way more mucky in places. Mark the date in your diary - OUR 2ND FUDDERMUCKER RUN - SATURDAY 24TH SEPTEMBER 2016. Tell and share with your friends, make up a team from your local Sport's/Running Club/Friend's/Family or just run to have a laugh. Looking forward to seeing you all again.

Hi Fuddermucker Runners, well done and congratulations to you all who took part in our first Fuddermucker Run. The feedback from all participants has been very postive and we are delighted that all who participated enjoyed our 5k mucky fun run.

We would like to thank all the people who have contributed in any way to the succesfulful running of the First Fuddermucker Run. To the management and board of Sli Eile for their support. To the tenants and staff for their help and encouragement. To Marie Lou O'Donnell our social media guru for her tireless work and Paddy Joe for keeping the grounds in pristine condition. To Daniel Herlihy, Ben and Des Holten for the fantastic work on the course. To the tenants of Sli Eile for their help clearing the Fuddermucker Run course. A huge thanks to Da Vinci Creative and Riordan Financial Ltd Main Street Charleville for sponsoring our posters and advertising. To BCD engineering Charleville for their kind donation of a stainless steel tank to supply clean water to the runners. To Teresa for donating time and equipment for the warm up before the Fuddermucker Run. To Kate Colbert, Michael Cox and John Sampson for their time in looking after the registrations and Tshirt distribution to the runners. If I have forgotten anyone I can assure you that it is not deliberate. Now the really good news is we are going to have another Fuddermucker Run in September. The Fuddermucker Run will be held at Slì Eile Farm, Burton Park, Churchtown, Mallow, Co. Cork on Sunday 24th July, 2016, as part of their Harvest Festival. This is a Fuddermucker Run through 200 acres of farm land, forestry and streams, To be held on a 5 km course consisting of about 35 different obstacles. All proceeds go to Slì Eile Farm. The Slì Eile farm offers a place where people experiencing mental health difficulties can find safety, acceptance and support to recover. Entry €25 per person plus free Fuddermucker T-shirt. €20 per person for a team or 4 or more including free Fuddermucker T-shirt. Mini Fuddermucker Fun Run for children, Entry €10 including free T-shirt. Entries for Fuddermucker Run will also be accepted on day. We recommend that you book online. Nature is putting on a stunning display for the Fuddermucker Run on the 24th July. Magnificent specimen . The wonderful Copper Beech is just one of hundreds of fantastic trees which will be part of the setting
