Well done to Aidan. Voted as Meath Badminton Association most improved player of the year.

That's a wrap to the 2025/2026 season. Thanks to everyone who came to celebrate at the Annual Awards Dinner. Thanks to Leinster President Dave Murphy for presenting the awards.

🏸 What an incredible season for Longwood Badminton Club! 🏸

We are hugely proud of all our players who represented the club so brilliantly throughout the Meath competitions this year.

A massive congratulations to our League and Cup winning teams whose hard work, commitment and team spirit brought fantastic success to the club. Your dedication on and off the court has been outstanding!

Special congratulations also to our Most Improved Player of the Year - Aidan Gill - a well deserved achievement and a true reflection of the progress, effort and positivity shown all season long. 👏

Our juvenile section continues to go from strength to strength, and we are incredibly proud of all our young players who competed with great enthusiasm, sportsmanship and determination throughout the year. The future of badminton in Longwood is certainly bright! ⭐

A huge thank you to all our coaches, volunteers, parents and supporters who make everything possible each season.

Deepest sympathies to the Arnold family at this sad time. Joe was a gentleman .Before many a fixture meeting yourself and John would try to get fixtures made , but still were the last two to leave. Joe had the fixtures down to a fine art and was never under pressure. From everyone at Longwood Badminton Club, May Joe rest in peace.
