If you're always exhausted when you wake up, here's how to fix it
1. Just like you would for your kids (or future kids) you will have a bedtime for them. Same goes for yourself. Start treating yourself like a toddler. Anyone with a 2 year old will relate to the little demons they turn into when they get knocked out of routine. And getting back into routine is a whole other ball game.
Set yourself a bedtime and and wake up time, yes even on the weekends. Most importantly stick to it. Your body is craving it.
2. You're probably already on the back foot when you wake up. Do you know what you're going to wear for the day. Do you have breakfast ready to eat? For the parents, do you know where their drinks bottle is?
Set yourself up from the night before. Lay out the clothes. Make the right decisions for breakfast, have your lunch made from the night before.
3. When is the last time you bought a new pillow? What state is your bed in? Your duvet, can you remember when you bought it? First thing to do is buy a new pillow, get some cheap lights from the range or from amazon etc. Make your room a place you actually want to go to sleep in.
Try these and see how the quality of your sleep changes!
