Fresh off the back of winning the Premier League trophy after an unbeaten league campaign, our Youths are back in cup action this Sunday as they face Mungret Regional in the Youth Premier Cup.

Kickoff in Mungret next Sunday is 10.30am.

Our league winning Youths team & management were presented with the Premier League trophy this afternoon in the clubhouse.

Well done again to squad & management on a fantastic league campaign and also ensuring the Youth Premier League trophy resides in Crossagalla for another 12 months.

As a number of the playing squad were not available today, the squad will be presented with their medals at our Awards night in a couple of weeks.

Our sincere thanks goes out to Robbie Williams who after 7 seasons has decided to step away as manager of Pike Rovers FC.

Robbie joined the Hoops as Player-Manager ahead of the 2019/20 season however Covid would impact his first two years in charge. During his tenure, he oversaw the club’s first league win in 7 years, guided the team to National & Provincial finals and has helped to reestablish the link between our Underage & Junior setup with many of our U17s/Youths getting lots of game time in the last couple of seasons.

Robbie’s trophy haul is even more impressive when you consider that he was not only managing the team but also playing a vital role on the pitch and it was fitting that he kept this role going right up to his last game playing the full 110 minutes in yesterday’s game.

Super sub Aaron Murphy springs from the bench to send the Hoops into the Quarter Finals with the last kick of the game.

Hard earned win for the Hoops who had a lot of possession & created many chances but came up against a well disciplined defensive display by the visitors.

Well done to squad & management on the win and they can now look forward to the well deserved summer break to rest up after a long season before coming back in August for the Quarter Final tie.
