St. Kilian's Summer Camp

Established in 1990, St. St. Kilian's Summer Camp teaches children the basic skills in a wide variety of sports.

Kilian's Summer Camp offers children a safe, relaxed environment in which to experience a variety of different sports, outdoor activities and art & crafts. The camp is divided into three age categories so that each child will enjoy a week of sport in a relaxed, carefully planned, imaginatively taught education programme with children of their own age group. No emphasis is placed on elite performance and every child is made to feel included and successful.

Friday marked the end of Week 4 of our 2026 camps and the 34th year of St. Kilian’s Summer Camp. 🏕️☀️

We would like to thank everyone involved in the running of the camps: Killinkere GFC, Donoghue’s Coaches, The Lakeside Manor, Virginia Scout Group and Kells Swimming Pool.

A sincere thank you to all the parents and guardians for your support and cooperation, to our amazing instructors who are the life and soul of the camp, and most importantly, to our brilliant campers. We hope you all enjoyed the past few weeks as much as we did.

Wishing the very best of luck to Andrea Murphy this evening as she takes part in the Cavan Rose of Tralee Selection in the Hotel Kilmore. 🌹🍀

Andrea is synonymous with St. Kilian’s Summer Camp. Since first attending as a four-year-old and later joining the team as a coach, she has only ever missed one day of camp in all those years.

Loved by campers young and old, Andrea is many children’s favourite instructor and, on Fridays, is most often found with a bucket in hand, gleefully soaking instructors and campers alike.

From all at St. Kilian’s Summer Camp, go n-éirí an t-ádh leat, Andrea. 💚

As the dust settles on our 2025 camps, we would like to thank everyone who made this year happen.

We were thrilled to welcome back our friends from Novara, Italy to Killinkere this week. 🇮🇹☀️🏐

They joined our Thursday night campers for great games of volleyball, basketball, olympic handball, soccer, gaelic football and ended the evening with s’mores around the campfire.

It was a fantastic evening of sport, friendship, and cultural exchange. We’re already looking forward to next year! 💚
