A little look into what a Wednesday morning Small Group PT session looks like.

We start with a warm-up designed around the muscles we’ll use in Block One and Block Two, before moving into our strength work where the focus is on quality reps and progressive overload.

Block Two lifts the intensity with three exercises, and we finish with a 6-8 minute conditioning piece, whether that’s an AMRAP or the choice between Build and Burn.

Every part of the session has a purpose.

Learning how to hinge properly 🕺🏻

We start simple with a kettlebell deadlift to teach you how to move from the hips instead of dropping into the knees. From there, we build confidence with the same movement pattern until you’re ready for something like a Romanian deadlift with a barbell.

It’s all about progression, not perfection.

Build strength, build confidence, and learn how to move well so everyday things like bending and lifting feel easier again 🏋🏻

DOMS (delayed onset muscle soreness) is that soreness you feel 12–72 hours after a workout 🕺🏻

It happens when training causes tiny micro-tears in your muscles, and as they repair, you come back stronger. It’s most common after new or intense workouts, especially strength training or slow controlled reps.

It’s not an injury, just part of the process. Sore today, stronger tomorrow

We’re starting the morning with a free 8AM class in Kilkenny, then heading to PFC Bagnestown where there’ll be a coffee truck and sauna there for everyone to enjoy ☕🔥
