Today officially brings an end to Kilkenny Badminton Academy 2025/2026 season with two of our members taking part in the U15 Leinster Badminton Intercounty Competition in Baldoyle, Charlie Comerford & Oscar Darlington after a tough day & hard fought wins against Carlow, West Meath & Offaly eventually finishing runners up to Laois A placing them Silver Medal winners in Division 2 👏👏👏
The future is bright for this young group of players with 5 of them U13 this year & totally exceeded what was expected of them 😬
Thanks to all players, parents anybody who helped throughout the year.

KBA Open Doubles Tournament is nearly upon us "Saturday 28th"
Just some info, Everyone must have appropriate sports & foot wear, Bring plenty of drinks but there is no food allowed in the hall.

U11 Boys & U11 Girls kicking off at 12-30pm to 2-30pm

U13 Boys & U13 Girls kicking off at 2-30pm to 4-30pm

Please allow sufficient time for both players to arrive before start time

€5 per each event entered 👍

"Kilkenny Badminton Academy" U13 (2015/2014) & U11 (2016/2017) Doubles Tournament will be held in Kilkenny College R95CF61 on Saturday the 28/3/26, times in the links.
Normal Badminton Ireland rules apply 1st to 30 no setting Knockout, Consolation tournament also so every participant is guaranteed 2 Games. Both partners must enter & name partners name in Google form,

Just want to say a big well done to the U17 Kilkenny Badminton Squad who were very unlucky to not win Gold to a good Laois A team today in Division 2 👏 With players representing Mooncoin Badminton Club Mullinavat Juvenile Badminton Tullahought Badminton Club & Johnswell keep up the great work

So the photo's attached Pic 1 & 2 are from a brand new shuttle given to a 2011 born girl, Pic 3 & 4 is a brand new shuttle given to a 2010 born boy, Given to both at the same time both played 2 games to 21 & returned shuttles afterwards "It's actually mind boggling the difference 😅
