Spartans at the Blizzards Volley Blitz 🔥🏐

A fantastic day out for our Kilkenny Spartans U14 teams at the Blizzards Volley Blitz in Carlow today!
Both our girls' and boys' teams put in excellent performances, showing great determination, teamwork, and sportsmanship throughout the day.

Most importantly, they gained valuable match experience, developed their skills, and had plenty of fun competing against teams from across the region.

A special congratulations to our U14 boys, who finished the day with bronze medals after a series of strong performances. 🥉👏 A brilliant achievement and a reward for all their hard work and commitment.

It was also wonderful to see the continued growth and development of youth volleyball within Kilkenny Spartans. With more young players getting involved, improving every week, and enjoying the game, the future of volleyball in the club is looking brighter than ever.

A huge thank you to the players, coaches, parents, and organisers who helped make the day such a success.

🥉Spartans Take Bronze at Cork Grass Volley 4x4 Tournament! 🏐☀️

What a day of volleyball in the sunshine at Tramore Volleyball Park, Cork, on Saturday, 13th June 2026!

The Spartans battled through a competitive 4v4 mixed grass volleyball tournament, finishing in 3rd place after a fantastic team performance.

After qualifying for the semi-finals in 2nd position, the team won 4 out of 5 pool matches, with the only defeat coming in a nail-biting clash against Clonmel, decided by the very last point.

The semi-final saw Spartans push eventual tournament winners Net Force all the way, narrowly losing 2-1 in a hard-fought battle. Determined to finish on a high, the team bounced back brilliantly in the bronze medal match, defeating tournament hosts Volleywood Stars to secure a well-deserved place on the podium. 🥉

A scorching hot day on the grass, plenty of great rallies, and an outstanding team effort from everyone involved. Proud of the fight, resilience, and teamwork shown throughout the tournament!

🏐 INTENSIVE FEMALE VOLLEYBALL TRAINING IS BACK! 🏐

The Kilkenny Spartans are excited to welcome female players of all levels to our Intensive Volleyball Training Sessions, taking place every Tuesday from 7:00pm – 8:30pm at The Watershed, Kilkenny.

Whether you're a current club member looking to sharpen your skills for the season ahead, or someone completely new to Kilkenny wanting to improve in the sport, this is the perfect opportunity to get involved!

💥 Non-Members of Intermediate-High Level
💥 €10 Pay-As-You-Go
💥 No long-term commitment required for June or July
💥 Improve your skills, fitness, and game knowledge 💥 Train in a fun, supportive, and competitive environment
