A hard-fought Under-14 contest in Kildorrery this evening saw Kildorrery emerge 7-7 to 5-4 winners over Banteer in blustery conditions. The game, kicked off at 8pm, was played into a strong wind in the first half and Kildorrery made the most of the advantage, registering a series of excellent scores despite missing a few gilt-edged goal chances early on.

Banteer refused to lie down and, with the wind at their backs in the second half, mounted a spirited fightback. They hauled the deficit back to within four points and threatened to turn the tie, but Kildorrery finished stronger. Smart use of substitutions by Kildorrery gave valuable game time to the entire panel and helped maintain energy levels late on.

Overall it was a great team performance from Kildorrery and a match played in a strong wind for both sides.

Kennedy Cup.
We wish our U14 player Evan Walsh the very best of luck as he represents Cork in this prestigious competition which will be run all next week at UL campus in Limerick. This is a massive achievement for Evan, his family and for Park utd afc.It isn't easy to get selected to represent your county at Kennedy Cup level but this young lad who has talent in abundance thoroughly deserves his place amongst Cork's elite.Clubwise he has been instrumental in our U14 team success story so far this season and has been praised by many especially in the teams national cup run that saw them narrowly lose out to Leicester celtic in Dublin in the last 8 of the competition. His coaches and all at Park utd afc wish him the very best of luck next week and hopefully we will have a Kennedy cup winner in our ranks come fri 12th June. Go get them Ev.🇳🇬🇳🇬

In the 3rd round of the U16 LGFA league, Kildorrery edged out Mitchelstown in a high scoring encounter in O'Connell Park.

Kildorrery's ability to find the back of the net proved decisive. While Mitchelstown outscored them in points, Kildorrery's goals provided the cushion needed to secure the win.

There was a very competitive edge between the teams which in turn showcased their skills and work rate.
