Kildalkey Hurling and Camogie Club

Kildalkey Hurling and Camogie Club Kildalkey Hurling Club was founded in 1910, affiliated to the GAA in 1922. Hurling and Camogie are played at all levels with an extensive juvenile program.

Kildalkey (Cill Dealga) is a village steeped in Hurling heritage. Kildalkey won the Jubilee Cup for a 5th time in 2021, following the wins of 2009,10,11 and 19.. We have an excellent Juvenile Section, with boys and girls, from 5 to 17 years. We welcome new players to the club, where lifetime friendships are made. Our club has 2 full size pitches and a state of the art all Weather Facility, which i

ncludes a 25 metre hurling wall, with lighting. In 2020 the club introduced a new 750 metre walkway, as part of our inclusion policy. We continue to maintain Defibrillators within the club and have continuous cpr training for our members. We strive to educate our members on Health and Wellbeing throughout our strategies. The club are an integral part of our community. Our ambition is only curtailed by resources. In the near future, we have plans to light around the Walkway and erect new fencing around the front pitch.

First up, Friday evening, the Intermediates take on Wolfe Tones in Moylagh.

Sunday morning it's semi-final time for the Junior hurlers as they head to Drumree hoping to come away with that all important win and secure their spot in the JHC Final. 💪🏼

Finally, Sunday afternoon concludes the group stages of the SHC as Kildalkey come up against Kilmessan with Throw-In at 3pm.

💰 Funds raised will go towards the development of a new gym, walking track roadway & general upkeep of grounds 🙌🏻

Our Kildalkey u10’s had two teams in action on Saturday morning, hosted by Navan O Mahony’s they played Boardsmill also. Our girls proved very strong through the fixture, and are a brilliant representation of our club. Ones to watch! Well done girls and big thanks to Navan O Mahony’s for hosting.

Kildalkey V Killyon, U8 Hurling 💪🏼💙

Our u8's lined out against Killyon this morning in a wet & miserable Fr. Plunkett Memorial Park. The rain certainly didn't deter either team as they battled for possession- both fifteen minute halves were full of passion and determination.
Killyon put it up to our lads but they didn't give up and worked well as a team. Páidí Fox was a power house blocking balls and getting the sliotar up the pitch. Great team work & team spirit on show 👏🏻🙌🏻

A special mention to our birthday boy Brían Fox who put his birthday celebration to the side to focus on hurling 💪🏼🎂 🥳

Well done boys you did you club and coaches proud this morning. Kildalkey Abú 💙🤍
