From the beach briefing to the first pop-up, every lesson at Winki Waves is kept small, personal and focused on helping you progress at your own pace.

Whether it’s your very first wave, your first time on a longboard, or you’re joining one of our surf camps, our goal is simple:

Still time to surf with us this summer 🌊🌊

The season is well underway here in Donegal, and we’ve been lucky with some beautiful days, fun waves and lots of people catching their first waves or improving their skills.

Whether you’re looking for a full surf camp, a weekend escape, a surf lesson or a kids’ session, there’s still time to join us over the coming weeks.

A few places are still available on our upcoming surf camps, and we also have availability for private lessons, beginner sessions and kids’ surf lessons.

Small groups, plenty of time in the water, expert coaching and one of the most beautiful coastlines in Ireland.

Donegal gave us one of those weeks. 🌞

Long evenings, empty roads, blue skies, mountain walks and Mulroy Bay glowing well past dinner time.

The kind of days where you surf, wander somewhere beautiful and realise it’s somehow still light outside.

We still have space for surf weekends over the next few weeks — come for the waves and stay for all of this.

There’s more than one way to join us in the water this summer. 🌊

Come for a full surf camp, book a lesson while you’re visiting Donegal, or get the kids involved in one of our summer camps.

Our next surf camp available are from 30th of June to 24th of July, with small groups, plenty of coaching and the full Winki Waves experience around the sessions.

Surf lessons and kids camp places are also opening for the summer.

After such a good first edition, the Winki Waves x Ruby Knox Longboard Coaching Weekend is back in Fanad from 28–30 August 2026.

3 surf sessions, water & land coaching with Ruby + Alessandro, land drills, group video analysis, lodge life, breakfasts, pizza night and a family style dinner included.

For surfers who have surfed before and want to progress their longboarding.
