The Finish Line Training TRIATHLON TRAINING CAMP The course will include:-
• Swimming: stroke analysis, drills for technique and programmes to develop endurance.

For the budding triathlete who wants to learn more about triathlon training and develop their skills and knowledge, we have a weekend training camp just for you! ( exclusive use of pool)
• Cycling: exercises to improve riding skills, group dynamics and training methods performance
• Running: improve speed and endurance
• Circuit Training: triathlon specific, focusing on the core muscles used. The

instructors:-
• Shane is a Level 1 Triathlon Coach and assistant Swim Coach, who has completed over 40 triathlons including an ironman distance triathlon in 2011.
• Liam is a Personal and Team Fitness Instructor through the National Council for Exercise and Training, who has represented Ireland in triathlon and finished in the top 40 triathletes in Ireland (11th in his age-group) in 2010. The open-water and transition workshop is now taking place at Kells pool at 7.45am Saturday 16th. (€6.00)
(The lake temperature is still below 10 degrees, which is very chilly).

We'll spend the first hour in the pool going through open water skills; using wetsuits, swimming in groups, rounding buoys, sighting....
Following the pool session we'll work on triathlon-specific bike skills, transition set up and run-throughs.

For the pool you'll need trisuit/swimsuit, wetsuit, cap and goggles.
Outside you'll need your bike, helmet, (glasses), bike shoes (if you use them), runners and (warm) clothes.
