Inagh and District Anglers

Inagh and District Anglers Angling in the Inagh area of County Clare We are a fishing club in West Clare that have 3 waters. Our largest water is Clonmacken.

Membership can be obtained from Mace Inagh for 30 Euro (2025 fees). This venue is stocked with trout yearly but also contains a very good head of pike, perch and rudd to specimen size. This water is best fished from a boat and has a fantastic slip way built in 2022. There is some fishing to be had from the shore on the car park side. Carty's lake has 3 modern double fishing stands and is a very pi

cturesque venue. Lined with lilies, the lake contains good heads of trout (stocked yearly), perch and some pike. Morgan's lake is the smallest of the three waters but has two lovely double fishing stands. This lake is mostly known for its trout and would be a great venue for the beginner or young angler. Boats are also available to rent, please message for any details or call into Mace Inagh.

Quick update : IFI have completed 2x visits to Clonmacken & believe that the water, although very clouded, is healthy and okay to fish.

They have asked us to keep in touch with them and provide any photos of algae bloom, scum build or fish kills. If you see any evidence of this, please photograph it and send into the Whatsapp community group.

On behalf of the Inagh and District Anglers, we would like to express our sadness at the untimely passing of our good friend and club member Mattie. He had a great interest in fishing and he was always willing to lend a hand. May he rest in peace.
Our sincere condolences to his friends and family!
