It’s been a long time in the making, but where we are now is something I could never have imagined a year ago.

We now have our back wall up and nearly complete! A huge thank you to Glass Solutions for carrying out the installation on a bank holiday and continuing to finish the job throughout the week.

Thanks to the generous donations we’ve received, the favours we’ve called in, and the incredible time and effort from our volunteers working on the court. We are so close and look forward to promoting sport in Gorey through our club Gorey Handball and Racquetball Club

We still need every bit of help we can get, and we still need donations to get us over the line.

UPDATE!!!

Great progress is underway at Gorey Handball & Racquetball Club!

Thanks to the support of neighbouring clubs through loan assistance, and the generosity of local tradespeople who have volunteered their time, we’ve been able to make real headway.

We are very grateful to , , South East Property Services and .ie for their assistance so far.

✅ The new floor has been sourced and installed.
✅ A glass back wall has also been secured and is scheduled for installation in the coming weeks.

We’re well on our way to getting the court back in top shape, but we’re not there yet. We still rely on donations to help us complete the project, and any support, big or small, makes a real difference.

Help Us Finish What Was Started!
Gorey Handball & Racquetball Club has been formed to complete the alley at Community College Gorey - a facility that will give our local community and young players a proper home to train, play and grow.
The building works began as a way to replace the old handball alley on Wexford Street, but unfortunately had to stop when funding ran out. We’re now raising the remaining funds needed to finish the job and finally bring this much-needed facility to life.
Every donation, big or small, brings us one step closer to opening the doors.
