The hosts produced a competitive display to hold off the lads as they ran out one nil winners.
Some splendid second half saves from Jack Dorgan kept the scoreline respectful.

Congratulations to Longboats who fully deserve to go to the next round.

Unfortunately we weren't able to cast the game live as the wind would have claimed the tripod and the phone attached to it.

After the weather claimed the game last week, the boys will once again travel to the beautiful Crosshaven in the Mick Mooney Cup.

The CBL's most picturesque venue plays host to the clash between Longboats and Cheers FC.

This weekend the lads hit the road to face Healy O'Connor Solicitors in the CBL Premier Division.

The boys travel to Garryduff on Sunday morning at 10:45.

The game promises to be a cracker as always. Cheers came out on the right side of an eight goal thriller earlier this season.
