💚🤍 SEAN & TADHG APPRECIATION POST 🤍💚

Meet Sean & Tadgh 👏⚽

Both of these lads are members of our Gallen United Football For All team and are at training week after week, regardless of the weather. They are proud members of our Alpha Group.

For anyone who doesn't know, our Alphas are the older boys and girls within our F4A family. The idea behind the Alpha Group is that, as they grow, they can become people our younger Cubs can look up to — someone they can turn to for support, help, guidance and encouragement. 💚

And today, Sean & Tadgh showed us exactly what being an Alpha is all about.

Today, they became ALPHA LEADERS. 💪⚽

At this time of the season, numbers can be a little smaller with both players and volunteers, so today we asked Sean & Tadgh if they would step up and give us a hand.

And just like that...

⚽ Our Alpha Players became Alpha Coaches. ⚽

The lads did an incredible job and we are extremely proud of the way they took on the responsibility.

Before we got started, Sean was asked:

“Do you know what it means to be a coach today?”

And he gave all the right answers:

💚 Be kind
💚 No bad language

Sometimes moments like this show exactly what Football For All is really about.

Our teams dont just play on pitches. We also have a team of volunteers that we could not be without.

Our Sensory Parlour is coming along nicely and we must pass on a BIG THANK YOU to 4 amazing people.

These 4 mighty helpers have been working endlessly on our sensory space. From the grounds work and getting ready for concrete, the new floor inside and to painting the exterior.

A new chapter begins for Gallen United Football For All.

We're delighted to officially open Senior Player Registration (18+) for our inclusive football programme.

If you are aged 18 or over and have additional needs, we'd love to welcome you to our Football For All family.

No football experience is needed, just come along, enjoy yourself, make new friends and be part of something special.

Our sessions are built around:

🌟 Inclusion

What a weekend it was for our Football For All team! 💚⚽

We were incredibly proud to kick off the Saturday festivities at the Ferbane Festival Fayre, and what a fantastic session it turned out to be.

But before a ball was even kicked, something truly special happened.

In the early hours of the morning, we took delivery of not one... but TWO cabins, generously donated by PARL Contracts Ltd. ❤️

This simply wouldn't have been possible without three incredible people who gave up their time to help us:
👏 Paddy Brazil – Brazil Plant Hire
👏 Beanie – Beanie Transport
👏 Francis Egan

These three men were up bright and early, lending a hand without hesitation. I've said it many times before, but our community never fails to amaze me. The kindness, generosity and willingness to help is something we're incredibly grateful for.

With our cabin now in place, our dream of creating a dedicated sensory space for our Football For All players is another huge step closer to becoming a reality.

From everyone involved in Football For All, thank you to PARL Contracts Ltd , Paddy and Beanie. Your support will make a real difference to so many children and adults for years to come. 💚
