1st Year Parents/Guardians Coffee Morning

We warmly invite all our 1st Year Parents/Guardians to join us at Coláiste Chú Chulainn on Wednesday, 23rd September, from 10am–11am.

Come along for a cuppa, meet Ms. Mullins, 1st year Yearhead and members of our school team, learn more about school life and daily routines and have any questions answered.

Our 4th and 5th Year students enjoyed a fantastic visit to the WorldSkills Ireland exhibition at the RDS today!

Students had the opportunity to explore a wide range of exhibits, discover exciting career pathways and gain valuable insights into the many skills and opportunities available across different industries.

A particular highlight was meeting CCC past pupil Adam M at the SISK stand. Adam spoke about his career journey with the company and the skills he has developed and honed along the way. It was wonderful to see one of our graduates sharing his experiences and inspiring the next generation!

Some of our TY students had a fantastic day today at the National Ploughing Championships, enjoying the sights, sounds and brilliant atmosphere of one of Ireland’s biggest events!

From the moment they arrived, students were tasked with a scavenger hunt, encouraging them to explore the site, complete different activities and seek out a variety of exhibits. This added a great sense of fun, teamwork and positivity to the day!

Along the way, students experienced the huge variety the Ploughing has to offer from tractors and agricultural machinery, livestock and agri-tech innovations to college and apprenticeship stands, careers, businesses, Irish food producers and plenty of entertainment.

A special highlight for some of our students was getting the opportunity to witness President Connolly officially open the event.

It was a brilliant opportunity for our TY students to explore, learn, discover new interests and enjoy a day out together, while soaking up the unique atmosphere.

A fantastic experience, lots of laughs and plenty of memories made!

A huge congratulations to our talented students Conn Mac C (2nd Year) and Óran O (6th Year), who recently performed alongside our music teacher, Ms Murphy, with the Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland at their Music for Peace humanitarian fundraising concert in the National Concert Hall, Dublin. 🎻🎶

Presented in support of UNICEF and Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders), this special concert raised vital funds to provide urgently needed humanitarian assistance, including food, medical supplies and essential support services for children affected by conflict and humanitarian crises around the world.

We are incredibly proud of Conn, Óran and Ms Murphy for being part of such a meaningful musical event, using the power of music to support those in need.

Well done and congratulations to Conn, Óran and Ms Murphy!

Shakespeare Comes to Life!

Our 6th Year students travelled to the DLR Mill Theatre in Dundrum recently to see a spectacular performance of Othello, their Leaving Cert English Single Text.

It was a fantastic opportunity for students to experience Shakespeare’s words brought to life on stage, deepening their understanding and appreciation of the play. Students thoroughly enjoyed the performance and a wonderful day at the theatre!

A Brilliant Start to TY!

Our TY students kicked off the year on a fantastic note with a brilliant bonding trip to Tanagh Outdoor Education and Training Centre!

It was a great opportunity for students to get to know one another, work as a team and challenge themselves through a range of exciting activities. The water sports and rock climbing were particular highlights, with everyone getting stuck in and embracing the challenges!

A fantastic start to what promises to be an exciting and memorable TY year. Well done to all our students!
