Instrumental in developing content and implementing a coaching philosophy / structure to enhance the quality of coaches in England, including advising key FA personnel. One of a small group of professional coaches, who hold the FA Academy Directors Licence and UEFA Pro Licence in England. Management of 228 International games, including managing England’s Under 17 side, where key achievements have included being the first England manager to win the UEFA U17 European Championships in 2010 and subsequently repeating this achievement in 2014 to become the most successful England Manager at any level. In addition to runners up in 2007, two semi-finals, three quarter-final appearances and qualification for the FIFA Under 17 World Championships in 2007, 2011 and 2015 reaching the quarter finals in 2007 and 2011, managed England U19, U20 on several occasions, Assistant with U21. Assisting in the development and coaching of numerous elite players, who have gone on to achieve full and Under 21 England honours.
