This Saturday, September 5th marks the centenary of the Dromcollogher Cinema Fire, where 48 people died tragically following a fire in a makeshift cinema.

A full programme of events will take place to commemorate those who lost their lives.

This State Commemoration is a flagship event in the Dromcollogher Centenary Commemorative Programme.

Now that the dust has settled after Sunday's All-Ireland Final win, we'd like to extend our thanks to everyone who came out and supported our Up For The Match night in The Dropping Well on the eve of the match.

Tickets are selling fast for our Up For The Match event in The Dropping Well this coming Saturday (D06 YK38).

Our expert panel includes TJ Ryan, Dave Clarke, Pat Ryan (Doon G.A.A.), Kevin Lally (Galway) and Denis Walsh from the Irish Times to provide a neutral's perspective.

There'll be live music from The Jackeens and plenty of food on the night.

SAVE THE DATE

Following last Sunday’s thrilling All-Ireland hurling semi-final victory, Club Limerick Dublin will host a fundraising event on the Eve of the All-Ireland Final – on Saturday 18 July - in The Dropping Well on the banks of the scenic River Dodder in Milltown (D06 YK38).

The arrangements are being progressed and will be updated regularly. An evening of music, food and All-Ireland Final preview will be led by former Limerick hurler, captain and manager, TJ Ryan.

We'll have guests from Limerick, Galway and further afield. The private event will be held in The Bank Function Room, and admission tickets will be available for purchase in advance.

The ticket will be made available shortly with online payment via a QR code. Cash/cheque payment options are also possible. Admission price €50 to include a Gourmet Food Platter.

The Dropping Well has a reasonably sized car park, is a five-minute walk from the Milltown Luas Stop (Green Line), and is served by the No. 44 bus from DCU via the City Centre.

We are witnessing an unprecedented period in the history of Limerick GAA. It is important that we seize these moments and share them with each other.

Many thanks to all who took part in another splendid Golf Classic at Edmondstown Golf Club, superbly co-ordinated by our own Tom Cotter. Thanks too to our guest of honour, former Limerick captain and five-time All-Ireland winner, Declan Hannon.
