Chapelizod hosts a week-long community festival every year at the start of the school summer holidays. The festival, which has been running for over twenty years, is a week packed with events for the young and older generations including; trips to Fort Lucan, swimming, rowing, bowling, baking and talent competitions, sports days, yoga, disco, table quiz,

darts and football tournaments, nature walks, poetry nights, céilí, fancy dress competitions and much much more…!
