Darndale FC Darndale FC Junior is a soccer club based on the northside of Dublin city Darndale FC is a soccer club based on the northside of Dublin city.

Darndale FC Junior has very bad news to relay to you all. Over the past few months we have been in talks with the FAI looking for help to get our club into a league for our children. We have been going for 50 years and have had our teams in the NDSL league but they have now merged with the NERL League. We met with the new league and parents and decided we would be willing to travel so as the kids would have a league, we were told we were welcome to join and we were making plans to start BUT the league informed us that they had a meeting and they would NOT travel pass exit 5 on the motorway to us. We also spoke to the DDSL league but they refused us entry as we only have 2 teams and they only take 5 teams or more.The FAI have done nothing to help so much for grassroots football they could not care less. So for this year the club is taking a break and will come back again fighting for the kids in this community to play again even stronger than we were.
We would like to thank everyone for their continued support over the years , Coaches, managers, parents, committee and most of all the children. THE FIGHT GOES ON WE ARE NOT GIVING UP ON THIS CLUB.

Well done to our U13s team and their managers on winning their match this evening. A big shout out to the away side Ashbourne who played a great game of football. A big thanks to John from Parks for helping us secure temporary pitches for the rest of the season.

We were so looking forward to the return this week of our Junior football teams playing in Darndale Park but due to damage to our pitches from loose horses roaming the entire park our pitches are unplayable for the foreseeable future. All activities in the park have been cancelled in the interest of health and safety.

Darndale FC rescued a c**k and a hen that were badly injured and thrown over the railings of the clubhouse. They were nursed back to health by the lads that work in the park on a daily basis. They bought medication, food and even built a hutch from them only to arrive for work 2 weeks ago to find the hen had been killed by a fox. But this morning the lads have been left devastated to discover that the c**k has had it head cut off. How can anyone be so cruel to a defenceless animal. How are we as a club going to explain this to our teams, parkrunners and especially the children from the school and crèche that used to visit the Rockey and Dolly.

DARNDALE FC JUNIOR.
This is the FINAL Reminder to all parents or guardians of children on our teams.

The last of the registration fees must be paid by Allowance Tuesday no later as everyone has had 4 months to pay the fees. The fees can be paid by Revolut.

We need to order the training gear.

If parents of children in the Academy wants to purchase a training kit they can do so by getting in touch by DM or we can attend the training in the hall to collect money and take sizes. We can put an order in when we order for the rest of the club hopefully within next 2 weeks.

Darndale FC Clubhouse will be open from 1pm to 2pm tomorrow to collect the remainder of the registration fees.
We accept cash/card/Revolut.

Darndale FC Junior.

Could all remaining registration fees be paid ASAP as our old insurance runs out on Sunday and children cannot train or play matches as they won't be registered on our books so will not be covered.

IMPORTANT NOTICE.

The playground in Darndale Park has been closed until further notice due to the stairs for the slide been set on fire and surrounding area been badly damaged. We apologise to the staff and children of the Jigsaw Centre and playschool that use the playground on a daily basis and also all the grandparents, parents and children who loved to use the equipment.

THIS IS NOT ACCEPTABLE ITS OUR COMMUNITY THAT IS LOOSING OUT.
