FODHC presented the last of the Bags of sliotars to Erin's Isle CLG this week following on from the clubs who brought juveniles to this year's Leinster Senior Hurling Championship Final. Mentors Thomas and Sinéad Dvelin were there on hand to meet FODHC members. It was fantastic to see so many young boys and girls happily being coached in the skills of hurling and camogie. Well done to all in Erin's Isle!

The Annual FODHC Celebration Night returns! This year we’ll be gathering at the Louis Fitzgerald Hotel on Friday, November 20th for one of the highlights of the FODHC calendar.

It’s a great opportunity for the Dublin hurling and camogie community to come together, enjoy a lovely meal and catch up after another year. We would especially love to see clubs who received sliotars from FODHC, our Clubs of the Month, and the hurlers and camogie players recognised throughout the year.

There was plenty to celebrate in 2026, with our hurlers earning promotion back to Division 1A and reaching the Leinster Senior Final, while our camogie team also reached a Leinster Final and secured their place in Division 1B for 2027.

Save the date and join us for a great night celebrating Dublin hurling and camogie! Further details to follow.

Killmacud Crokes claim 1st ever All-Ireland Camogie 7's Cup title!

The eve of the All-Ireland Camogie Final always means a trip to Páirc de Búrca, with 38 teams taking part between Cup, Plate and Shield Competitions.

The Cup Final brought joy for Dublin as the host club Kilmacud Crokes GAA Club claimed the Proinsias O Cróinín Cup for the first time ever when they defeated Craughwell of Galway on a scoreline of 6.8 to 3.8. Dublin Treasurer, Sinéad Mc Neela, presented the Player of the Tournament Award to the Craughwell goalkeeper Lauren Gilligan and the cup to the victorious Crokes captain, Izzy Davis.

Castleknock were thrilled to accept a bag of sliotars from FODHC recently!

Members of FODHC drove 452km to deliver sliotars to 16 Clubs in Dublin who brought 30 or more juveniles to the Leinster Senior Hurling Final. From Cuala on the Southside to Wild Geese in North County Dublin it was quiet the adventure! It was wonderful to see so many young boys and girls enjoying hurling and camogie thanks to dedicated volunteer mentors.
