🇮🇪 FROM IRELAND TO THE JACKIE CHAN STUNT TEAM! 🇨🇳🥋
A very proud moment for Screen Combat Ireland as three of our students, Sam Hickey, Aoife and Ryan Murray, prepare to travel to Beijing, China, to begin their training with the legendary Jackie Chan Stunt Team! 🎬🔥
Having had the incredible privilege of training with the JC Stunt Team myself over the years, it's especially rewarding to now see performers I've helped train and develop taking their own steps into this extraordinary international training environment.
This represents a significant milestone for Screen Combat Ireland, with our students becoming part of the first generation of Irish performers from our school to follow this pathway.
At SCI, our training goes beyond learning fight choreography. We focus on developing performers through martial arts, stunt skills, action design, screen performance, camera awareness, creativity and professional collaboration. Our goal has always been to help people build the skills, confidence and experience to pursue opportunities both here in Ireland and internationally.
But none of this happens without the dedication, courage and hard work of the students themselves. Each of you has earned the opportunity to take this next step, and I'm incredibly proud to have played a part in your journey.
To everyone who has been part of this journey, your progress and achievements mean a great deal to me. ❤️
A huge thank you to the Jackie Chan Stunt Team, Philip Sahagun and everyone involved in creating these opportunities for performers from around the world.
Congratulations, Sam, Aoife and Ryan! Enjoy every moment, learn everything you can, make new friendships and bring that experience back to inspire the next generation of performers in Ireland.
From the training room to the international stage. This is what we're building at Screen Combat Ireland. 🇮🇪🇨🇳
