💛 A Special Message to Our Parish Community 💛

As Fr. Wickham prepares for his retirement, we would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and thank him for the many years of dedication, kindness and service he has given to our parish and its people.

To mark this special occasion, a collection is currently being organised, envelopes will be delivered to all houses in the parish over the weekend and any financial contribution would be most welcome and greatly appreciated.
Contributions can be dropped to the Old Schoolhouse on Wednesday & Thursday Evening next between 7pm - 8pm
All the details are included in a letter with envelope

We hope you will join us in showing our appreciation to Fr. Wickham and in wishing him good health, happiness and many blessings as he begins this new chapter. 🙏💛

The following are the upcoming changes to the Cloyne Diocese

The parish of Shandrum will now be under Charleville with Canon Donal O'Mahony to act as administrator for the parish. (Mass times yet to be decided)
Fr Wickham will be retiring.

We would like to wish Fr Wickham every happiness and blessing for his retirement. Fr Wickham has given many years of dedicated service to the Church and to the communities he has served, and we hope this new chapter brings him good health, happiness and many peaceful years ahead.

A meeting of Shandum Parish Pastoral Council will take place in the sanctuary in Newtown Church at 8pm on Tuesday next 18th August.
In attendance will be
