❗️Please note the Parent & Toddler Group has finished for the summer.

Restarting in September

Skreen Dromard Parent and toddler group is finished for the summer. We resume on Thursday 3rd of September. If anyone would consider joining the rota to set up every 4 weeks it would be great as some of the regulars are starting preschool in September. It's a lovely way to get involved in the community and the set up only takes 20 minutes before the group starts.

We will continue our buggy walking and playground meets on the last Tuesday of every month.

Thanks for all the support since we started up. We have a lovely group of parents, minders and little ones who will be friends for life 😊

🧸 TEDDY BEAR’S PICNIC 2nd JULY🧸

In aid of Skreen/Dromard Community Centre Playground Refurbishment 🛝

👏Thanks to part-funding by Clár25, Sligo CoCo & Dept of Rural and Community Development, Skreen/Dromard Community Council are in the position to redevelop the playground!!

However, the remaining costs have to be covered through fundraising💶

Redevelopment includes:
🔵 Replacing play equipment
🟢 Re-instating the much-loved nest swing
🟣 New multi-activity unit, adapted to varying abilities

Our playground requires continuous maintenance, and it's use does not generate any income. The playground is free to the Community.

Skreen/Dromard Community Council appreciates any donations (however big or small) for the use of the playground, to help cover the ever-rising maintenance costs. Donation box can be found at playground entrance.

Reminder, the following items can or cannot be accepted in the clothes bank at the Community Centre:

✅ Clothes ❎ Household Rubbish
✅ Shoes ❎ Metal
✅ Curtains ❎ Glass
✅ Towels ❎ Paper
✅ Sheets ❎ Carpets/Rugs
✅ Blankets ❎ Soiled Rags
❎ Pillows, Duvets & Quilts

Prohibited Items have been left in the clothes bank recently including paint tins.
The Community Centre ends up bearing the cost of removing these items.

We ask anyone using the clothes bank to please adhere to the rules of accepted/unaccepted items.
