Had a really great days sailing today. Two new keelboats joined the ranks and took part in our busiest day yet. Mick wont be around next week but John and Cathy will be around to take are of things. Hope to see you all. Don't miss the boat :)

Hi all. Avon Ri Sailing Club is now a reality. We have racing in keelboats every Sunday at 2.00 on the Blessington Lakes. Last Sunday was our busiest yet with four full boats in action on the lake. Seamus Phelan came in a close first. We are also still running lessons at 10 and 12 on Sundays and evenings. Anyone with any interest in getting involved or just cheking it out is welcome!! Sorry about the recent lack of sailing. Last couple Sundays have been blown out. We tried today but the elements were dead set against us. The sailing club is in the pipeline for the spring so spread the word

This is a nice demonstration of sail orienteering and shows how close we are to the town (Check out the Church on mainstreet in the background)

We are running a deal in Avon Ri for November weekends. 1 night accom, dinner, breakfast and two half days of sailing/windsurfing/multi activities for EUR120!!! Doesn't get better then that!
