That’s a wrap on another fantastic minis rugby season 🏉

Our final training session this morning brought the curtain down on months of fun, friendship and some brilliant rugby! From the youngest minis to our oldest players, it’s been brilliant to see everyone grow in confidence, skill and teamwork throughout the season.

A MASSIVE thank you goes to all of the volunteers who make this club so special — our coaches, helpers, committee members, tea and coffee brigade, bakers, yoga gurus, parents and supporters who give their time week after week to create such an amazing environment for the kids to enjoy rugby. Without you, none of this would be possible.

Thank you to all of our players and families, enjoy the break everyone — and see you in September
❤️🖤

Today marked the final run out for our incredible U12s squad — a group who have worn the club colours with pride, passion and friendship over the last 7 years.

From their very first training sessions to their final whistle in minis rugby, this team has given us so many fantastic memories, laughs, muddy mornings and proud moments along the way.

As they now move on to new beginnings and the next stage of their rugby journey, we want each player to know how proud the club is of them — not just for the rugby they played, but for the teamwork, respect and spirit they showed throughout the years.

You’ll always be part of the family. We’ll be watching, cheering and supporting from afar as you take your next steps.

Good luck boys — the future is bright ❤️🖤

A fabulous project on our doorstep to provide shared facilities for Rugby, Soccer, GAA and Athletics in .

It highlights the missed opportunity that Foxrock Parish Finance Committee had to provide a facility in the Parish Sports Field for ALL our community, not just one sport.

What an unforgettable trip for our U12s! 🏉

From the moment we arrived, the excitement and energy was incredible. The boys represented the club with pride, teamwork, and fantastic sportsmanship both on and off the pitch. The rugby was brilliant — tough matches and great skills on display against a fantastic GDD Rugby - Grupo Desportivo Direito, and lovely for both clubs to enjoy lunch together afterwards. Huge thanks to Vasco and Francisco for bringing their super players down to us and thanks for a great day.

But it wasn’t just about rugby. There was exploring the training camp, playing football and pool, team bonding, lots of laughs, and memories that will stick with them for years to come. It was amazing to see the friendships grow even stronger over the course of the trip.

A huge thank you to the coaches, organisers, and all the parents who made this experience possible. Trips like this are what youth rugby is all about and what makes such a special club ❤️🖤

🏉 Destination: Portugal! 🇵🇹

Our U12 Boys are officially off on their biggest adventure yet! This weekend, the squad travels to Portugal, where they will take on local Lisbon club, Grupo Desportivo Direito.

A travelling group of players, coaches and parents will make the journey for what promises to be a brilliant experience, both on and off the pitch. Trips like this create lifelong memories, strengthen friendships and give young players a fantastic chance to represent their club away from home.

A huge thank you to all the families, friends and members of the wider SBRFC community who got behind the trip and helped sponsor it. Your support has played a real part in making this possible for the boys.

Best of luck to the players, coaches and families travelling. Enjoy every minute, play hard, and make memories that will last a lifetime. Do the club proud! ❤️🖤

(It’s Freddie’s first flight so looking forwards to hearing about his antics 🦊)
