Although yesterday’s result did not go our way, we still have many things to be proud of when it comes to this team.

Our girls fought until the very end, it was just not our day. For a few of our U15s players, this was their adult football debut and we got to see a glimpse of the talent that we have coming up. The future looks promising!

Mattock Rangers Ladies team would like to thank our management team Shane Stack and Paddy Watters for all of their work and dedication the last 3 years. Our years in the intermediate championship surely were tough at times but they showed up every week nonetheless. Thanks a million Shane and Paddy.

We would also like to thank all other coaches who helped us out during the year; Stephen Smith, Peter Dooley & Joe Devlin. Thank you for giving us your time!

Also to every woman who stepped in as FLO on the sidelines; Erin Carpenter, Orla Stack, Jen Reid and many more who stepped in when we were stuck. Thank you so much, none of this goes unnoticed!

To our parents and supporters who showed up in all rain, hail or shine, whether we were winning or losing, thank you for being there with us.

And finally to our girls, well done on your hard work this year. Keep the heads up and stay together, it will pay off. We look forward to the Division 2 league and Junior championship next year.

Intermediate we will be back 💪💪💪❤️🖤❤️🖤
