Longford Precast & Prestressed Concrete Products Ltd. has been one of Ireland’s leading suppliers of all types of concrete product for more than 40 years. It is one of three companies operating under the Mulleady Group. The group also incorporates Mulleady Waste and Mulleady Construction. The three companies are all headquartered on the same site at Drumlish, Co. Longford, but each offers a very distinct service. The company operates from a 30,000 square foot manufacturing facility at Drumlish, Co. In 2012 the company established their UK office at Aidan House, Newcastle Gateshead. We have developed an extensive range of products for the Agricultural Sector. As the largest supplier of pig slats in Ireland, Longford Precast has supported the completion of complex new build and refurbishment pig housing projects in the British Isles. We also supply various sizes of cattle slats & cubicle beds for the beef and dairy sectors. We also specialise in bespoke precast design and manufacture throughout Ireland and the UK. Working in collaboration with Civil Engineering Contractors, Longford Precast, has successfully manufactured and supplied a wide range of custom precast solutions for a number of large scale projects including wastewater and sewage treatment, recycling plants as well as leisure and sporting facilities. In 2012 Longford Precast introduced a range of flood defence systems. The company have worked with some of the leading construction companies specialising in the completion of flood defence projects. They have recently partnered with a German company to offer an innovative flood defence walling solution. Our Customers are at the core of what we do, and we continue to grow and expand to better serve their needs across all projects. We have incorporated a ‘Sample Testing Laboratory’ to support the development of ‘Specialist Concrete Mixes’ and product quality testing requirements. In conjunction with our engineering division, our specialists can design and manufacture precast product moulds to meet all project requirements. Our products carry the quality assured CE mark and EN206 Certificate for concrete, and our Quality Management System complies with ISO 9001:2008 standards.
